Train navigation is heading to the locomotives of the Slovak company LOKORAIL, a.s.

The NavTrain train navigation will be used by drivers from Slovakia, LOKORAIL, a.s. will equip its locomotives with them. The carrier, which deals with freight transport and also operates railway sidings, has also been operating on tracks in the Czech Republic since 2018.
„Through our trusted company in the Czech Republic, we came across Betrian and their NavTrain train navigation system. We were very pleasantly surprised by the timing and speed of the whole process of implementing the new technology into our equipment,“ says CEO of LOKORAIL, a.s. Ing. David Kostelník.
LOKORAIL, a.s. operates electric and diesel locomotives and from 2019 also Siemens Vectron MS locomotives.
„Our navigation solution has been designed with the needs of modern rail operators in mind and we are confident that it will contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives and improved safety. The process was extremely smooth and fast, which is a testament to the great collaboration between our teams,“ says Petr Sec from Betrian.
The cooperation with the Slovak carrier represents another successful expansion of Betrian Group’s products into new foreign markets.
